GAIL OSADUKE is a registered millinery company in the province of Ontario, Canada. Established in 1988, the company serves as both a manufacturer and a retailer of special occasion hats and bridal headwear. Under the trade name of Gail Osaduke Custom Millinery, our family design house presents the creative talents of milliner Gail Osaduke whom everyone calls the Hat Lady. Graduating in 1983 from the Ellen Peterson Fashion Institute in Toronto, Gail afterwards visits 56 countries over 3 years and observes, first hand, how many of the principles and concepts she learned are applied in the businesses and societies of these countries. Upon completion of her travels, she begins to design her way into a modest business of buckram and fabric fashion hats for special occasions. In 1992, her husband David joins as an associate milliner and shares in the management of business growth. In addition to our daily hat and bridal clients, we supply "private label" wedding millinery found in prominent retail establishments throughout North America. The phrase "private label" means that we design and manufacture millinery for fashion couturiers who, in turn, market the products under their own name. Continuing the tradition of passing on the skills of the trade to the next generation, we participate with educational organizations in Canada and abroad in co-operative millinery apprentice programs.
