Sewing supplies are found at dressmaker supply stores and fabric shops .
In addition to fabric shops, foundation materials for hats and headpieces may be bought through arts and crafts suppliers, yarn retailers; wholesalers and manufacturers of artificial flowers, bindings, bridal supplies, felt, fur, knitted fabrics , leather , linings , millinery supplies , silks , sisal and textiles .
Decoration materials often used are available through arts and crafts wholesalers and specialists in beads, braid, buttons, feathers, insignia, laces and trimmings .
Once the hat or headpiece is completed, the milliner affixes a specially designed fabric label or woven label . Boxes are used for shipping product and the display, carrying and storage of the head wear.
For the home hobbyist, display hangers are available; whilst store fixtures, showcases, tradeshow booths and custom displays may suit others. | ||
